Launched in Perth on World Environment Day in June 2008, the City of Perth has joined other city councils around Australia in establishing CitySwitch Green Office as a national tenant energy efficiency program. 

Perth-based Signatories cover a wide range of sectors and represent many of Australia’s leading companies. To date, 26 organisations have joined the program locally representing 150,000 sqm or 8.5 percent of commercial office space. The City of Perth would like to thank these organisations for their significant contribution and ongoing commitment to the program. 

Since joining CitySwitch as a council partner, the City of Perth has hosted a range of events covering topics such as ’Improving office energy efficiency through behavioural change’ and ‘Climate change and your organisation’ plus held an exclusive Signatory site visit to the new offices of AECOM situated in the Old Post Office building.
